Seeing Chicago from the air as descended for landing was like looking out onto a twinkling, sparkling river of light. Amazing. Quick flight too – only a little over 2 hours. I’m now in a shuttle van off to the hotel. Feels nice and crisp up here. Nice and cool. I am anxious to see what the city is like and visit the Museum of Contemporary art tomorrow, and hook up with Dan and see Northwestern’s campus. Man this guy is driving fast! Didn’t get to sit right next to Krissy on the way up, but we were only one row apart and like I said was a smooth ride. 12 minutes to downtown… Hopefully I will be snapping some shots while I’m up here with my camera attachment and putting them up on nathanchase.com – happy april fool’s day everyone!

Well we leave for the windy city of Chicago tomorrow night! I’m pretty excited as I’ve never been there before. I get to tag along with Krissy since she has a conference up there (SIOP – Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology) and her work is paying for it! We get to stay in this posh hotel and I’ll get to visit Dan (sax/vocals of Brownie Points) since he is still up there going to school at Northwestern U. for his master’s. Should be a rockin’ good time.
I’ve been working the late shift doing the uninteresting job of feeding a tape deck tapes to redigitize all of the footage for the entire documentary at high resolution. monotonous to say the least. Don’t have to go into work until 2PM, but have to stay there until 10PM. blah.
